I enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and the private beach area at the hotel. The complimentary wireless internet access was a nice touch for scrolling social media while sunbathing. And let's not forget the delight of having a barbecue in the garden!
Oh, and did I mention the lovely surprise of encountering a few creepy crawlies in the room? Quite the thrilling experience, I must say.

The surrounding nature was breathtaking, creating a fairy tale-like atmosphere. The rooms were stylishly clean and everything was well put together. The staff, including Celestine and James, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The private beach was a lovely addition. Comfortable beds and well-equipped units.

The room at Stanley Island was really cozy with a lovely seating area. It had a fully equipped kitchenette which was perfect for preparing my own meals. I liked the tile floor and private entrance, giving it a unique touch. The view of the garden from the room was also really nice.
Personally, I found the electric kettle in the room unnecessary.

We absolutely loved our stay at Stanley Island! The peaceful location and well-presented accommodation provided a relaxing atmosphere. The cooking facilities were excellent, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The staff were lovely and provided quick service on the boat to and from the island. The boat ride itself was a fun experience, adding to the overall enjoyment of our trip. The island felt remote, which added to the relaxed vibe. The highlight was definitely seeing zebras outside our room in the morning and being able to walk to a nearby field to see them in the afternoon. a wonderful experience for adventure travelers like us.
Felt cozy, no complaints whatsoever.

The room had a great seating area and a fully equipped kitchenette, perfect for preparing meals. I loved the balcony with its stunning river views, it was such a peaceful spot to relax. The private bathroom was clean and had a hairdryer and shower, which was convenient. The garden view from the room was lovely, it really added to the overall charm. The tile/marble floor gave the room a modern touch. Having a private entrance made it feel more secluded and cozy. The electric kettle was a nice addition, it made brewing a cup of tea so easy. The seating area in the room was comfortable and inviting.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the patio with river views as much as I thought I would.

What an absolutely stunning place! We were staying as two families of 4 adults and 4 children. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the children just loved the space to run around AND see the zebras up close. We stayed in the middle of winter…. Yes it’s cold BUT the rooms were lovely and warm and the staff went out of their way to light the fires, add blankets, put the heaters on and fill water bottles so we actually didn’t feel the cold at all at night. A huge thank you to Celestine and the team for making our 2 night stay just perfect. Don’t miss a stay at Stanley Island!
100% Recommend this hotel.

Great view with zebras right outside your window. The team was nice and helpful. Comfy bed and stylish rooms.
The restaurant menu needs improvement. The wifi only worked for a couple of hours.

I enjoyed the free Wi-Fi, sitting by the outdoor pool, and using the barbecue in the garden - it was like having my own private resort! Cons: Oh, how I loved overhearing my neighbors' conversations and being woken up by children running above me. Such a dream!

The room at Stanley Island was cozy and comfortable, with a nice seating area and a kitchenette that had everything I needed to cook my own meals. The private entrance was a great touch, and I loved having a view of the garden from my room. it felt like a home away from home.
The only downside for me was that the room didn't have a balcony. But that's just my personal preference, and others might still enjoy the river or garden views from their own balconies.
